Review & Giveaway: Myachi Hand Sacks

Since my kids are not babies or toddlers, it is very hard to find toys that they are willing to play with. Tevin in 10 years old and I got the chance to review the Myachi Hand Sacks. These are pretty cool new hacky sacks. You remember those don’t you? I really loved them, except when my brother threw them at me really hard. Well Myachi Hand Sacks are way better than the little round hacky sacks we had back in the day. First let me tell you a little about them:

Myachi, pronounced mee-ah-chee, is a Hand Sack, about 3 x 1.5 inches (10 x 4 cm) in size. The handsack is tossed around on the back of the hand in any number of ways. Any surface of the body can be used, except for the palms. The point of the game is to toss the sack on the back of your hand without letting it hit the ground. Games include big air – seeing who can catch the highest toss – and best trick – seeing who can perform the best tricks with the handsack. Tricks include catching the sack on your head or foot, tossing under the leg or behind the back, or moving your hand around the sack while it’s in the air.

As soon as I showed the package to Tevin, he was totally interested. He kept asking for me to open them over and over until I gave in. He played and played with them and even took the Myachi Hand Sacks over to the neighbor house to play some more. There are all kinds of cool stuff you can do with them. Check out some of these moves.

This is just a few. Tevin tries to do them but really needs practice. I like that we also received a DVD showing some of the moves and “how to’s” I don’t suggest that you get the Myachi Hand Sacks for younger kids. I don’t see them doing anything with them except throwing them at each other like my brother used to me.
